Prefect Camp 2022
PREFECT CAMP
(NOVEMBER 2022)
Unknowing to the prefects, there was a special activity
planned for them early in the morning. The prefects gathered
in the hall and were blindfolded before being carefully led, by
the committee and teachers, to different classrooms.
After taking of their blindfolds, they were required to collect
sticky notes while avoiding "guards", whose role was filled in
by the prefect committee members. This enjoyable and
difficult activity exemplified the students' tenacity and resolve
even further.
The camp concluded with additional instruction, sharing
sessions led by Ms.Karen and Mr. Yoel, and a touching
awards ceremony. Students shared their insights and
personal growth experiences from camp, reflecting on how
they had become more effective leaders, better teammates,
and stronger in their faith.
In the evening, the students played a thrilling "prison
break" game that tested their stealth, courage, and team-
work. One of the highlights of the camp was the cooking chal-
lenge, where teams prepared dinner for themselves and the teach-
ers. Although some students initially struggled because of inexperi-
ence, they demonstrated genuine Christian values by assisting and
instructing one another making
the entire process much more
efficient. This challenge
fostered cohesion
and cooperation
among the
participants.
