PRESCHOOL: LITTLE LAMB
Little Lamb is the kindergarten sector of Wisdom Spring which caters to children aged 4 and above. We employ a holistic, hands-on approach in educating the youngest age group of the next generation in seven main areas of study: Language, Numeracy, Sensory, Practical Life, Science as well as Social Studies related to the Bible with the integration of music and art. We believe that in doing so, a child is being “trained up in the way he should go; so that when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). It is our desire that right from small, all our students discover and know their purpose in this world that will set them up for success in the future.
English is the main language learnt and used for communication, reading and writing, but Chinese is also taught from K4 onwards. Bahasa is added in when kids enter 1A.
Math concepts are made simple through fun games and activities, and of course, lots of practice!
This beautiful world that God has made is discovered and marveled at through various experiments every lesson.
The Bible is one of the most interesting Social Studies books that will open up young minds and enable them to see themselves as part of a much bigger picture.
As children learn best through active use of the senses, playdough and other educational toys are used to help them develop motor skills, encouraging exploration, creativity and thinking-out-of-the-box to solve problems.
Children become independent as they get used to daily routines of cleaning up after themselves at break times. Cooking class is one activity that is enjoyed monthly.
