MIDDLE SCHOOL: YEARS 5-8

At WSA, we emphasise on individualised learning, a method of teaching in which the content, instructional technology, and pace of learning are based upon the abilities and interest of each learner.

Our mathematics curriculum is focused on building a strong foundation in mathematics concepts and problem-solving skills. We believe that mathematics is not just about memorizing formulas and rules, but about developing problem-solving skills and understanding mathematical concepts at a deeper level. Our curriculum encourages critical thinking, creativity, and perseverance while building a strong foundation in mathematical principles.

At the middle school math curriculum, students broaden their familiarity with mathematical concepts with fractions, decimals, percentage, exponents, probability, angles, and measures of central tendency, all in its various arithmetic functions

Our science education aims to go beyond rote learning and encourage critical thinking through question-based learning. This approach acknowledges that students learn best when they are curious and engaged in the learning process. By encouraging students to ask questions, We create an environment that fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Moreover, laboratories provide hands-on experimentation opportunities where students can explore scientific concepts practically, enhancing their learning further. As a result, Wisdom Spring instill a lifelong love of learning and help students develop critical thinking skills that can be applied not just in science, but in all facets of life.

The middle school science curriculum begins laying the foundations for a robust appreciation of the sciences at the high school level.
